3X-KZPEA-DB SCSI Adapter and DS20E 6/833 MHz

Hi,

the 3X-KZPEA-DB ist supported with the 500MHz cpu but not
with the 833MHz model.

I have here two DS20 6/833 (dual cpu) equipped with the 3X-KZPEA-DB.
The machines should run under Tru64 5.1.A.

Compaqs online infomation says that the 3X-KZPEA-DB is not supported with
this type of cpu:

What would you do?
- Change the scsi adapter?
- Change the cpu typ?

Why is the scsi adpater not supported?
