Using mailx to send email with alternate variable originating add ress

As a result of my previous questions, now comes the bottom line... We need
to have a way to change the 8 character username used in Tru64 Unix to a
Windows username so we can use it as an email address in an automated
notification process.

We have a process running where when a job completes, it is supposed to send
a notification to the user. If the user is logged in Unix as pmagling
(because of the 8 character limitation), the process looks at the login name
and tries to send the email to pmagling@scvl.com (which doesn't exist. my
email address is pmaglinger@scvl.com)

Is there a way to create an association between the 8 character usernames
and the Windows usernames, or does anyone have a suggestion on how we can
set up the automated mailx to send to the correct address? We're talking
about 200 users...

Remember, you are unique... just like everyone else!
