Thanks a lot to Peter Stern, Bert Deknuydt, Dr. Tom and Regis Carlier.

Some doubts were expressed that it works, but it actually does!
What you need is Multimedia extentions which is on Asssociated products CD,
and license.

"......You can check the video/sound using:
/usr/bin/mme/alphavcr and opening:
/usr/opt/MME244/examples/mme/sample_data/avi/countdown-jpeg.avi
or /usr/bin/mme/decsound and opening any of the files in:
/usr/opt/MME244/examples/mme/sample_data/wave/" [from Peter Stern's email]

Have a good day!

XP1000 has onboard sound card.
How to make it running under 4.0F?
Is license required?
