Copy disklabel

Hi Admins,
I need to copy the disklabel of the boot disk of one system to a disk
and then use that disk for installing OS in a different server. Here is the
background to explain why I want to do this.
The server which I am going to install Tru645.1 (with LSM), doesn't have a
graphics card so I can't do a CDE installation and in character mode
installation it doesn't allow to create separate partitions for /usr and
/var.
So I wud like to partition the disk by copying the disklabel of the boot
disk of a running server (Tru64 with LSM)and use that disk for new
installation which will allow to put /usr and /var on different partitions.
Is there someone who can guide me how to do this?
TIA and I'll summarize.
