Sendmail help

I am getting the following error,

553 hostname.robins.af.mil config error: mail loops back to me (MX
problem)
554 username@robins.af.mil... Local configuration error

When I am trying to sendmail a message from the Tru64 unix box to a user on
our domain.

I am not sure which configuration setting I have incorrect. I would
appreciate all help. I tried the sendmail help line and didn't get much
response, I am sorry that this is off the topic a bit.
