Hi Admins,
Is there a way to automatically set up a "default" password, or a password
from an input file, when adding a new user? The point is that I'm trying
to script a procedure, but to get a user to be valid under Tru64, I seem to
be forced to use the "passwd" command.
Unfortunately, the only way I found to interact with the "passwd" command
is via STDIN. So, for a new user that I'm creating, I would like to be
able to generate a password without having to perform a "passwd" command
and interact with it via STDIN.
Any toughts or suggests? I will summarise. Thanks!
