My boss requested me to check the possibility to install openAFS (server
and client) on my Tru Cluster 5.1A (2nd patch) (ES40+AS4100).
I succesfully run configure and gmake the distribution (openafs-1.2.5)
I have installed it into /usr/local/afs
but I did'nt go further because I recalled that
1) I don't use any UFS (but only advfs),
2) I have installed Enanched Security (C2)
3) I would like to give AFS some of the shared disks (HSZ80)
I should modify the kernel for AFS to work, and I'm very scared about
that. Do you have any feeling/news about the chances it will work ?
Thanks from Italy
Emanuele
