update: normal users: No directory

Tim Cutts suggested that enhanced security automatically prevents
nfs-mounted homes, as nothing shared over nfs is secure. I disabled
enhanced security, rebooted, rebuilt the nis maps, and I still get the
same thing.
attempting to login does not generate any autofsd lookups, doing works
fine, and generates an autofsd lookup.
I can `login` as a user:
No directory!
Logging in with home = "/".
