Raid Advice:
I'm planning on building a mailserver on a 5.1a
connected to an HSZ50 array controller.
The controller I believe, houses 6 disks. My
management is very concern about i/o issues.
What I'm planning on doing is using hardware mirroring
for the OS; that leaves me with 4 disks.
Can someone give me advice on, if I should use LSM and
what would be the best advice on that, or should
I use the raid stuff that comes with the controller.
This will be for about 150 users, using Cyrus IMAP,
Procmail
for filtering, and of course, Sendmail. Any advice
will be greatly appreciated.
