Dear All,

I have a problem with the Insight manager. The problem is that the tru64
Unix client agent is not sending a trap to the Windows 2000 server when
a problem occurs on the client. For example if I remove a hotplug disk
from the client and check the status of it from insight manager the
system status will remain the same. The insight manager doesn't detect
the current status of the hard disk.

Please find below the details about the software installed:
1) Insight manager version 5.3 is installed on the Windows 2000
server
2) Insight agent is enable on the Tru64 v5.1.a Unix server (The
Insight manager agent is provided with the O/S)
3) Please fine attached the snmpd.conf configuration file (file
copied from Tru64 unix server)

Please note that when we start the Insight manager on the Windows 2000
server, It detects the client agent and displays the information about
the client alpha machine. What ever happesn after on the client it will
not be detected.

Any missing configuration or version incompatibility?
Kindly advise
Best Regards,
Joseph Hanna
