Group writable files

Hi all,

I would like files created in a directory to have group write privileges. I
am aware I can set the umask to 002 system wide or even as required, but I
would prefer to be able to control it at the directory level. The umask is
currently the default 022.

The files created in this directory are created by some software over which
I have little control.

Is there anyway to achieve this? I keep reading about security ACLs and the
like in relation to Tru64 but have no idea what they relate to. Are they the
answer like in the VMS days?

I am using V5.1 of Tru64.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark.
