Dear Tru64 Managers,

Well, this is an achievement: I've managed to ask a question so obscure
that it didn't provoke any replies at all! I'm sending this empty summary
for the benefit of the archives, not out of any desire to spread
despondency.

Never mind, I'm sure someone soon will ask an easy question like "how do
you delete files beginning with a hyphen?" and we can all leap in with the
answer.

Original question:

> I have recently been using the Galeon web browser (on Linux), and it is a
> wonderful piece of software. However, it relies on some software called
> gconf to manage its configuration, and I have been having a lot of trouble
