Hello,
Thanks a lot for responding to your time for reading through this. Any
response is welcome...
We are a Tru64 Unix 4.0F site running Production Server Cluster with LSM
across "drd services" and "AdvFS" services.
We just managed to install Tru64 version 5.1A in one of our nodes. During
this time, we were hiding the storage to the new node. Once, we enabled
access to one of the storage "DISK GROUP" and did a re-boot to the new 5.1A
"single-node" cluster, it hanged.
On rebooting, the diskgroup did not come up. However, that single disk
(which forms the disk-group --> dg1) is online.
On trying to give the following command....
voldg -o convert_old -fC -o shared import dg1
we get an error telling us that the logs are not available though they are
available in the disk itself. The single disk is container and is part of a
RAID5 in Compaq Storage Works.
Any help is appreciated.
