SUMMARY: scp_scsi file is huge

I believe you are interpreting your output incorrectly.
In this example:

#ls -la /dev/|grep scp
crw------- 1 root system 82,1048575 Apr 29 20:53 scp_scsi

the 82 is the magor inode of the device and the other number is the
minor
inode of the device. You should be having space issues, look elsewhere.

commands that I use are du -sk * and also don't forget to go into the
.dir
to look around.
