The serial cable was put in the second serial port, instead of the
first. I just couldn't see it from here.

I have a DPW 600au on a terminal server in the US, I am in DK. I am
trying to install tru64.
I have "set console serial" and "init" the alpha. When I init the alpha
it doesn't show the startup diagnostics on the serial console, but I can
get in contact through the serial console (after a return).
Also when I boot from CD I loose control after "jumping to bootstrap
code".
It looks like the console is still set to graphics. Keyboard and mouse
are disconnected.
I have read somewhere that openvms has problems with the "intel sio
82378" IDE controller, which is on this DPW. Does this maybe concern
tru64 also?
There is a Cateyes 4D60T graphics card installed, any problems there
maybe?
