Dear Group
 
Now I want to change shm_max kernel parameter from the default value to
another big value determined by Oracle support.
I changed the boot and the current field for this parameter in dxkerneltuner
utility and made reboot for the system.
After rebooting the boot field only was changed but the current field went
back to the default value.
 
Is there any easy way to change it.
 
By the way
I have DS20E cluster using UNIX 5.1 and patch kit 4.0 and already installed
Oracle 8.i.
