Hi,
We have two HSG80 with the snapshot option.
We are trying to automat the snapshot operation with command and scripter in our backup script.
We have a lot of problem and the problem seem to be different each time.
This afternoon we discover that one of the controler restart.
I have read the best practice on tru64 site. We are trying to make snaphot of two units (on two snap). make symbolic link for advfs and mount domain for backup.
I want to know if somebody use command and scripter to do automatic scnapshot.
Do you do two snaphsot at a time?
If your experience are good with snapshotting, I want to know how you do this (script, EVM) and if possible I like to see thet script.
Depending the response I have, I will post further informations about my problems.
I run tru64 Unix 5.1a patch 1.
ACS version 8.6S-7.
Trucluster environnement with tree servers ( 2 DS20E and 1 DS10).
