Hi everyone,

I would like to know if anyone else has tried this and what your experiences
were. We want to write some applications that will give us the functionality
to integrate COM objects on tru64 unix V5.1a and that will interface with
Oracle8i / 9i to create/update databases and reports and interface with a
Windows frontend.

If you have done this or thinking about doing it, a couple of questions are:

What do you need specifically with tru64 unix to be able to do it ( ie.
modules, patches, additional application, additional licenses, compilers,
etc beside the basic O/S package you get from compaq).
Any system performance issues or gotchas or things that went very well.

Thanks in advance
