Thanks to all who replied, and a particular thanks to:

- William Bochnik
- Jim Fitzmaurice

who replied faster than light!

I feel like a newbie! ;-)

The anwser was quite simple, and I think I didn't flick enough around it!
I just had to restart the cron daemon!

/sbin/init.d/cron stop
/sbin/init.d/cron start

N.B.: a "kill -HUP <cron daemon pid>" didn't work...

Hi all,

I have a strange problem here with an ES40, with Tru64 V5.1. At the
beginning, the machine wasn't properly configured regarding the timezone.
So we made a correction to attribute the correct timezone to the machine.
Once it was done, everything was looking great with the time.

But the problem is that the crontabs are still running jobs on EST time,
instead of the EDT time!

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
