Apache over NFS mounts - BAD Data

Hello Tru64 Unix Managers,

I am having a strange problem with Tru64 (v5.1 + DEC patches)and Apache (v
1.3.23 w/PHP and MySQL). It seems that if Apache is looking a files on an
NFS mounted filesystem, it "caches" OLD data during multiple edits. That
is, if I edit a file and then try to view the file over the Web, I get the
contents of the file BEFORE the edits. Of course, I am refreshing the IE
browser (6.x) and even tried using Netscape (v 4.7) browser. I know it's
not a browser problem because I've telnet'ed to Apache and did a "GET" and
still get "bad" content.

The only way things improve is if I stop and restart the Apache server OR
place the HTML files on a LOCAL filesystem. This is fine for 2 small
applications we have, but it does put to waste our 18Gb NFS filesystem.

Help! Any suggestions?

Kenneth
