C++ probs after 5.1 upgrade

Hi All,

I recently upgraded to 5.1 PK4, and have hit a problem with C++.
Something which complied succesfully under 5.0A, now reports
an assembly-phase error:

alf1_tsh> c++ sphere_J100.cpp
sphere_J100.cpp: In function `int main(...)':
sphere_J100.cpp:192: warning: assignment to `int' from `double'
/tmp/ccabG9Ha.s(1) : error : syntax error : last token was '2'

I get the same error if I buld the assembly file with g++ -S
and then 'as' it, so presumably its a problem with 'as'.

Any suggestions? I'm running c++ V6.1. Maybe its time to
upgrade that too. Nothing in the archives from 2000 on...

Cheers,
Terry.
