NFS problem between 5.1 server and 5.1A client

Hi,

I have a NFS server (DS20, 1Gbit DEGPA, MA8000) running Tru64 UNIX 5.1
serving around 25 Alpha's running Tru64 UNIX 4.0g with no problem.

I am starting to have some Alpha's with Tru64 UNIX 5.1A trying to use
the NFS server, but this performs very bad. Packets get through at 20
packets/sec, where normally I get around 3000 packets/sec. (nfsstat)

I have patched the NFS server to patch kit T64V51AS0004-20011114. No
success.
Firmware revision is still only 5.8.
The 5.1A clients are patched to T64V51AB01AS0001-20020116. If the
clients use another 5.1A or 4.0g NFS server there is no problem.

The only problem seems to be between 5.1A client and a 5.1 server. Any
ideas?

Thanks,
Maurice
