Hi Managers,

I am looking after a few Alpha 1200's running Tru64 - 4.0g - FW 5.7 and we
have been trying to get the newer version of the TrueTime PCI ntp card to
work (IRIG-A input from GPS via a TimeCode Generator). We have been having
some issues with a 1 second difference between the output from the NTP card
and our reference time from a GPS receiver - (which is not related to leap
seconds).

The card is supplied from TrueTime with NT drivers so we have attempted to
use the "old" unix drivers (truetime driver package 404) with the newer card
on our Alphas. TrueTime have advised one of our software people that the
imcompatibility exists because of the different way some registers need to
be sourced from the driver (?).

Anyway - has anyone had any luck with these cards (Model 560-5907/08
PCI-SG2) with Tru64 and finding drivers that work?

Many thanks and regards
