Thanks to Darren, this kind of makes sense as there is a DHCP server on
this subnet so all DHCP requests should go to this subnet. However, I
would think that we see it more often.

You are running bootpd servers on those machines, and they logged
messages when they received a request.

If bootps is not commented out then it's running. Thats why you got the
message.
You won't find anything on Sunsolve because it's not a Sun program. Sun
doesn't distribute a bootpd with Solaris. They do distribute a DHCP
server that can service bootp requests, but that's not what you're
seeing.
A bootpd server is distributed with some of the HP jetadmin programs,
but it is not always necessary to run it.
