Solaris 8, fully patched on an Ultra 2 w/ 128 RAM and 2 x 300mhz cpu
Two questions:
If I login as root, CDE hangs and I never get to the desktop, I enter
the username and password (root) and it hangs, and I have had to reboot
no way to get in other than the console. Is there a Sun keyboard combination
that will get me out of that hung state, like control alt backspace does for
linux ?
Also, any idea why this problem only affects root? Other users are good to go.
