V880 question on ethernet interfaces and services

Couple of questions:
First, I'm used to administering linux systems, so it's a little
different for me.
Where are the runlevel startup scripts? Specifically, I'm looking for
the network configuration and startup scripts. Additionally, with the
V880 we have, it's got a fibre card (which is working on interface ge0)
but what are the other available interfaces? How can they be
configured to auto-load?

Further, what settings should I keep open for the SMC and other
"required" services in the /etc/ inetd.conf file? The Solaris system
isn't running an NFS server, just an Oracle database system and nothing
else. Are there any system services that I can shut down immediately?

I've also gotten some errors trying to run solstice: "Unable to locate
registry. Check whether adminsuite software is installed." Solstice
used to run with no problems. Is there a service that may have been
killed that solstice depends on? The SMC Service is also having the
same problem. It can't load the default toolbox on the solaris system.
Says "Toolbox http://hostname/toolboxes/smc.tbx could not be loaded."
More details on the error show it's an error at
com.sun.management.viperimpl.console.config.VBaseConfiguration.createCon
figuration(line 181)" Looking at the open command, it says that No SMC
server was available on the specified server when trying to connect to
the localhost:898/.../smc.tbx

Any thoughts/suggestions? (Will summarize, of course)
Regards,
Jason McIntosh
