Hi Managers,
I am trying to figure out the occupied memory slots in an e280 remotely.
prtdiag for my other machines (5.9) prints:
========================= Memory Configuration
===============================
Logical Logical Logical
MC Bank Bank Bank DIMM Interleave Interleaved
Brd ID num size Status Size Factor with
---- --- ---- ------ ----------- ------ ---------- -----------
CA 0 0 1024MB no_status 512MB 2-way 0
CA 0 2 1024MB no_status 512MB 2-way 0
but for this particular machine, running 5.8, it does not output 'Memory' or
'IO Cards' sections at all:
e280-2.nwk#/usr/platform/sun4u/sbin/prtdiag
System Configuration: Sun Microsystems sun4u Sun Fire 280R (2 X
UltraSPARC-III)
System clock frequency: 150 MHz
Memory size: 2048 Megabytes
========================= CPUs =========================

--- --- ------- ----- ------ ------ ----
0 0 0 750 8.0 US-III 5.4
0 1 1 750 8.0 US-III 5.4
========================= IO Cards =========================
e280-2.nwk#uname -a
SunOS e280-2.nwk 5.8 Generic_108528-15 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-280R
Is there any other command/utility I can use to figure out physical memory ?
Is there any way of fixing prtdiag?
Thanks for the support,
Anshuman Kanwar
