Sun Cluster 3 And NTP Revisited.

First thanks for the replies I have had so far.

Apologies for delay in summary, but I am unable to configure NTP to run
as I would like, almost there but not quite.

The systems now sync time to the timeserver as specified, but when I
take the bbc-timeserver offline(I just stop ntp and assign ivalid IP
address to timeserver in hosts file) they all get out of sync, I would
like that when the network timeserver is unavailable that they all sync
with the cluster-node1, any help in finalising the ntp.conf file will be
appreciated.

 many thanks for your time.

Here is current ntp.conf(s)

#cluster-node-1
server 127.127.1.0
server bbc-timeserver
peer cluster-node1-priv prefer
peer cluster-node2-priv
peer sunadmin-box

#cluster-node-2
server 127.127.1.0
server bbc-timeserver
peer cluster-node1-priv prefer
peer cluster-node2-priv
peer sunadmin-box

#sunadmin-box
server 127.127.1.0
server bbc-timeserver
peer suncluster1 prefer
peer suncluster2
peer sunadmin-box
