I'm using IPMP with two interfaces both interfaces are attached to two
separate switches, if one switch dies IPMP notices the link is dead
fails over the interface and now traffic goes over the failover
interface this works fine, the only issue I'm running into is if a
firewall fails the failover unit comes online stops sending traffic to
the primary switch where my hosts are connected and sends traffic over
the other secondary switch when this happens IPMP does not failover the
interface because the interfaces looks up and alive... is there anyway
to over come this ??
This might be more of a Cisco/networking issue than a sun one but I'm
just shooting here first.
