Hi,
I am new to SUN and cannot find any info in the faq or the prior posts
regarding installation of PC Netlink. This looks to me like a proprietary
version of Samba, (Is it)?
BUT.. I cannot get it to install/authenticate with my NT4 PDC's. I have
installed PC Netlink as a stand alone server. The net logon service will not
start, and that is the required component to authenticate.** I can only get
the netlogon service to start when I install a "PDC" for a new domain on the
Sun box.. I am running Solaris 9 /02. It will not authenticate when I try to
install it as a BDC under the existing domain. Any ideas?
