OpenSSH problem

Hello Sun Managers,

I am in the process of configuring a Netra server running Solaris 8. Among
other things, I want to install OpenSSH on this machine. In order to do
this, I decided to download the packages from http://sunfreeware.com
(as I have done for other servers). However, even though I believe I have
followed all of the directions correctly, I am getting an error when I
try to connect. The error is:

    49 (1)hera:~> ssh ecorrado@caddis
    ssh_rsa_verify: RSA_verify failed: error:0407006A:rsa
    routines:RSA_padding_check_PKCS1_type_1:block type is not 01
    key_verify failed for server_host_key

This happens from more then one machine (in fact, it also happens from the
same machine that I am trying to install OpenSSH on). I tried recreating
the keys and a Google search didn't turn up any fixes besides one
suggestion to upgrade the client, but even the client on the same machine
that was installed with the same package is having the problem, so I don't
see how that could be the issue here. The OpenSSH version is the most
recent on sunfreeware (3.5p1). I have installed the patch that provides
/dev/random.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I will summarize to the list.

Edward Corrado
