Hi all,

We are thinking of deploying our product in Solaris box. Currently we are
using Linux.

Following is the product specification

5 JVM process communicate using RMI

MySQL Database

Need 1 serial port (RS232 communication) to talk to other system

Need 1 Parallel port for Printing

I looked at the Sun Fire 100, is it comes with parallel port?.

Is there any reason why this shipped with Solaris 8 preinstalled instead of
Solaris 9?
