Well unfortunately I was unable to get an answer through many replies that
told me the 450 MHz processor would work. Most pointed me to Sunsolve which
I am already familiar with, but was hoping that there was a backdoor as is
the case with many of the other boxes for larger drives and such. Oh well,
my engineer still swears up and down that it was done and it can be
done...Oh well unless he pulls out his magic wand I am going to stick with
the group and say that it is not supported. Thanks to all who replied.

Subject: E450 Using an UltraSPARC-II 450 MHz

Dear Guru and Gurettes,

I am running into an issue with my E450. My engineer is telling me that we
should be able to run the 450 MHz processors in the machine, but I cannot
find any documentation that supports his arguement. Plus in our testing we
have not had sucess. Is there a special jumper setting or something else
that enables the 450 MHz processors to work?

TIA, I will summarize...

-Mike
