I have a SUN Solaris 8 server running BIND 8.3.4 and I keep getting the same
error. I can't seem to find what is wrong. Can anyone here help me figure
this
out? (It's kind of a high priority, unfortunately.)
I restart the BIND server, and everything seems to be fine. But after about
45
to 55 minutes, I get a message in my logs that one zone has been rejected...
08-Apr-2003 09:01:49.765 load: error: master zone "utoledo.edu" (IN) rejected
due to errors (serial 2003040800)
This is all I ever get, even if I turn debugging on. I have debugging set to
level 11
right now. According to the book, this is the highest level that is ever
commonly
used. I cannot for the life of me understand where the problem is.
As kind of a background, this zone file had previously been running flawlessly
under
a BIND 4.9.8 server. I copied this zone file over, and then added the new
$TTL
directive where it should go.
I'm getting quite frustrated over this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! (And maybe I can e-mail you a beer
even!)
