SunRay smartcard question.

I have a sun BLADE using the smartcard for authentication.. The smartcard
contains username and password information. dtlogin reads "Please insert
smartcard" or something to that effect. When the smarcard is inserted it
asks for a PIN, and the session is established.

I also have a sunRAY 1. It is behaving differntly. I have it set to only
allow registered users. I've registered one card and that portion seems
to work. When i insert a card, the screen unlocks and i am presented with
a "Please enter username" dtlogin screen.

My question is this:
====================
Is it possible to have the sunray use card authentication the same way the
blade does?

I've tried adding smartcard.so.whatever_the_library_is to /etc/pam.conf
for dtlogin-SunRay and dtsession-SunRay the same way it appears for the
regular dtlogin and dtsession. I've loaded my sunray smartcard with the
sunAUTH applet and keyed my username and password.

I've done some other things that resulted in the need for a card to be
present in the blade and the ray to login to either.. lol.. not sure how i
did that.

Anywhoo I cant seem to find any documentation on how to do this or if it
is even possible but i swear i've seen it in a live demo. Any and all
help is appreciated.

Thank you much!
