Netra T1/105 - Console troubles

I just acqured a Netra T1/105, and am trying to jump it. However, I cannot
connect to the console port of the machine.

I have tried the RJ45-DB25 adapter that was supplied with the machine (unknown
condition) and a known-good Cisco rollover cable. With my terminal set to
9600/N/8/1 hardware-handshake, I get absolutely nothing upon applying power.
Typing #. and ~# (break) also has no effect.

The fault light is not lit on the machine, and I am told that the machine was
working when removed froms ervice two months ago.

Any ideas?
