System: E420, Solaris 8 mu4, LDAP client.
LDAP server: Iplanet 4.12 or openldap (tried both).
/etc/nsswitch.conf entry:
passwd: files ldap [TRYAGAIN=2]
group: files ldap [TRYAGAIN=2]
In case that the LDAP is not accessible(down)
I cannot login to the system even with an account
that is in the local password file.
Has anybody encountered the same problem ?
Any help would be appreciated.
