SUMMARY: "symbol maxmem" Problem on Cloned Ultra5

It looks like the machine I was copying things to has sick hardware, either
the HDD or the controller. The 0th-bit of binary files seemed to be getting
randomly flipped off when it should have been set. What made it difficult to
see is that the machine functions just fine booted off of a CDROM.

Using a different machine, I was able to do my cloning. Thanks to Casper
Dik for some good diagnostic ideas.
