I have two exabyte mammoth-1 tape drives in one enclosure. Recently
one of tape drives failed with the error:
SCSI transport failed: reason 'unexpected_bus_free': giving up
Retry several times and always fails, but at different file locations
during the backup. Thought the tape drive was bad and replaced with a
brand new tape drive. It worked couple times and the same problem happens
again.
Is there anything else may go wrong which I over looked? By the way,
another tape drive sharing the same enclosure works just fine. Do I have
a defected new tape drive?
