We have Solaris 8 on SUN Sparc server. Our security engineer as us disable
as many services as possible on network. I checked the /etc/inetd.conf file
and have questions on it:

1. does SUN have "security guide for SOlaris services" which relate to
inetd.conf? (IBM has one for AIX -- table list each service and describe)

2. what is "cachefsd" doing? Can I disable it?

3. what is "kcms_server"? Can I disable it?

4. what is "gssd" doing? Can I disable it?

5. what is "aimserv" doing? Can I disable it?

6. what is "ocfserv" doing? Can I disable it?

7. what is "metad" and "metamhd" doing? Can I disable it?

Thanks.
