This is probably off the topic a lot, but didn't know
where else to turn. So if someone can tell me a
better listserve for oracle solaris (unix) I would
love that information. (also one for basic script
question wouldn't hurt either)
Ok my challenge, today is, print a pdf file from
within an oracle form. My customer (an oracle
programmer) has issued the following command:
HOST('/opt/Acrobat/bin/acroread -toPostScript <
/path/pmtpermit_s52.pdf | /usr/bin/lp -d
printerb',NO_SCREEN);
The results is a page prints, but it isn't the file it
is an error message, (ERROR: Cannot find installation
directory)
The line command outside of Oracle works fine. We are
at a loss as to what is happening, if any one can lend
a hand, or suggestion I would appreciate it.
