rsync utility error

Hi Gurus,

I tried using the rsync (with rsh)utility to transfer files from host
A(solaris 2.6,behind the firewall)
to host B (solaris 2.7)and I am getting the following error:

rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (0 bytes read so far)
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(165)

What am I missing here?????Do I have to open any additional ports ???????
