Sorry for the following dumb question :-

I am very familiar with Fibrechannel switches, zoning etc.

but I have not worked with Fibrechannel hubs, though.

What exactly are the differences between a fc/al hub and a fc/al switch??

I have a pretty good idea (no zoning, shared bandwidth on hub) but wanted to
verify.
