Hi,

I have an Netra T1-105 (sun4u sparc SUNW,UltraSPARC-IIi-cEngine) running
Solaris 8 02/02 release.
Running : grep hme /etc/patch_to inst finds the following network
interfaces:

   "/pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/network@1,1" 0 "hme"
   "/pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/network@3,1" 1 "hme"

When I have added a new network adapter and run this command again its show me
different result :

   "/pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/network@1,1" 0 "hme"
   "/pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/network@3,1" 2 "hme"
   "/pci@1f,0/pci@1/pci@1/SUNW,hme@f,1" 1 "hme"

As you can see, what was hme1 is now recognize as hme2 . how this happened ?
running "boot -r" didn't help .
In some Netra(s) T105 the correct answer look like that :

  "/pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/network@3,1" 1 "hme"
  "/pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/network@1,1" 0 "hme"
  "/pci@1f,0/pci@1/pci@1/SUNW,hme@f,1" 2 "hme"

Any ideas ?
Thanks.
