Increase size of /var/mail mailbox

Hello,

I have moved over a users /var/mail/user file and the mailx and cde mailer is unable to open it permissions are right on it:

chmod 660 user
chown user:mail user

the mail box is 6.3 megs. Is there a limit on the size a mail box can be.

If I remove the 6.3 mg mailbox and create a new one it works fine..

Any help would be great. Solaris 9 box
