JumpStart finish scripts terminating unexpectedly

Hi all,
I have a JumpStart system that is behaving very strangely. The finish script
is exiting very soon after starting (less than one second). I have -x set in
the script and the output is being logged to a file on the JumpStart client.
The script doesn't terminate in the same place every time, but it doesn't
seem to be completely random.

There is almost no clues to why the script is terminating, except that once
I found the word 'Terminated' by itself on the last line of the 'set -x' log
file. In all other cases it looks as if /sbin/sh just decided that it had
reached the end of the script.

I've checked a whole bunch of things, including making sure that 'set -e'
wasn't happening, I ran ps in the script looking for shutdown running in the
background. I've checked the process limits as well. I'm booting Solaris 8
10/01 on an Ultra 10 client with 512MB of RAM so this should be stable
enough to avoid random memory errors.

Has anybody seen this before?

Thanks,
Lloyd Parkes
