JNI HBA on Solaris9

Hello Managers.

I'm fighting with a JNI FC64-1063 and looking for ideas.
I'm building a test setup for Sun Cluster 3.0. I'm using
an Ultra1, an Ultra2, and A5100. Both the workstations have
quadcards and JNI FC64-1063s. I'm running Solaris9 on both
systems as well. Most everything for the cluster works fine,
but the HBA's are fighting with me.

I've installed the drivers for the HBAs, which supposedly
support Solaris9. Installation went fine, I even updated the
firmware on the cards hoping that would help (it didn't).
When I attach the HBAs to the A5100 the node count on the loop
drops to 0. Pull the fibre out of the array and the loop returns
to it's normal count. However, on the system side, even though
the A5100 shows a node count of 0, it does see the devices.
And the driver is loaded. I went so far as to install EZFibre
but it's no help. I've installed JNI's in the past and not had a problem,
but I don't recall the details it was so easy, and it wasn't on Solaris9.

Here's what the system see's when I attach the array:

Here is proof that the modules is loading:

Any ideas as to what this could be? I attached the A5100 to a Brocade
Silkworm which I had nearby and it adds into the loop with no problems.
I will summerize.
