Hi there
I want to compile gcc 3.2.2 on this machine:
knox# uname -a
SunOS knox 5.9 Generic_112233-04 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-1
I don't have 64bit support installed on this machine.
'make' ends with:
ld: fatal: file /usr/ccs/lib/values-Xa.o: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32
ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written to sparcv9/libgcc_s.so.1
I am trying to build gcc with gcc 3.2.1, which I copied over
from another Solaris 8 machine.
For ./configure, I use:
./configure --prefix=/sw/pkgs/gcc-3.2.2 \
--with-ld=/usr/ccs/bin/ld \
--with-as=/usr/ccs/bin/as \
--enable-threads=solaris \
--enable-shared \
--enable-languages=c,c++
Any ideas?
Cheers
Thomas
