We have a box which gets its home directories from an NFS server, via
automount.
We rebooted the NFS server and this has happened.
# df - hangs
# umount - says device busy
The mount command shows these entries:
/net/earth-nfs1/export/home on earth-nfs1:/export/home nosuid/remote on Fri
Mar 7 00:10:01 2003
/home/thompsm on earth-nfs1:/export/home/thompsm read/write/remote on Fri
Mar 7 10:51:35 2003
There is also a cp command that will not kill -9
Short of rebooting the box is there any way we can umount the nfs mounts?
We are running solaris2.6
