Rarpd and Aliased interfaces

I'm trying to get a xterminal server up and running but things seem to
behave oddly...

Server has 1 NIC, Ip address on a real world ip.
alias for the same nic on 10.213.10.2.

I try to boot the client and the following happens:

If I give the client a real IP, then it boots, finds a kernel, no problem.
However, If I give the client 10.213.10.10 my server will not respond to
the rarp requests.

Does anyone know if this can be done with aliased interfaces?

Thanks
